| Th Royal | Centre of Whitby. Not stayed here. It’s recently had a refurb, the bar is lively and short walk down to the harbour. It’s a fifteen minute taxi ride from the house. |
| Dunsley Hall Country Hotel | This is the outskirts of Whitby, close to Sandsend beach. Its old, again a bit quirky but we like it. The hotel is a fifteen minute taxi ride from the house. |
