Who lived here

Low Quebec is old, built some time before 1669. The following are the details that Carolyn has been able to glean from various sources.

If anyone has any details to add to this table it would be interesting to hear from you……. especially pre 1669 information as we assume the house existed prior to this for it to be sold on this date!

There is a gap in the data/deeds showing when Mr Ventress purchased the property. Those listed are his children. Note Mr Ventress also owned Intake Farm so we think he rented Low Quebec to tenant farmers noted in previous census data – we just can’t say when from.
